Patchnride Is A New Gadget That Gets Your Flat Tire Up In 60 Seconds

John F. Kennedy once said, ’Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride’. Well, we would like to add to it. Nothing serves as a better mood spoiler than a flat tire on perfect cycling day. Getting a flat tire sucks, but you can make it suck less with this new gadget called Patchnride.

You don’t have to be an expert to fix your tire now. With this simple portable gadget, you can quickly repair your bike tire without even getting any grease on your hands. The first step is to pinpoint the leak. For this comes the ‘Leak Detector’. This is a liquid solution which is applied over the tire with a piece of cloth. The liquid reacts with the air being released causing bubbles to surface at the point of leak.

The device’s head is, then, inserted into the hole. Pressing the start button would inject an adhesive patch. When done, the tube is pumped with air to press the patch in place. A cartridge called ‘Patch Pod’ comes along, which can be substituted with a refill when needed. The process is a Do-it-Yourself and doesn’t require the user to know the technical details.

The company claims that the tool can fix punctures up to 3 mm in size in 60 seconds. The gadget is good for any bicycle, be it cruisers, mountain or road bikes. The first version is, however, for clincher or tubular tires. A version for tubeless tires is expected to come later. The company has started taking orders to be shipped from September 2014. Over the years, doctors have been shocked to discover a wide array of things inside of their patients. Check out these extreme cases of foreign objects being found inside of people!

A Hungarian man was shocked to learn that he has a 2.5 pound kidney stone inside of him in 2009. The doctors were shocked when an x-ray revealed the huge groth inside of the patient. Kidney stones are normally passed by drinking lots of fluid, but he required special surgery to remove the coconut-sized object!

This x-ray of a prisoner from San Salvador shows just how far people will go to stay in touch with their loved ones while in jail! And no, that phone isn't in his stomach.

Each year there are about 30 million surgeries that take place in the United States and there are around 1,500 cases of surgical instruments being left behind.Usually they are small things like sponges or scalpels, but 57 year old Daryoush Mazarei had a 10 inch long set of surgical retractors left inside of him. He was experiencing horrible pain (of course) and his daughter even spotted something poking out of his abdomen!

Grenade

This is the x-ray of a suicide bomber who somehow hid a grenade in his stomach. Though how he planned to detonate it once it was in there is anyone's guess!

Salad Tongs and Vibrator

It's bad enough getting a vibrator stuck in your rear end, but this guy tried to dig the thing out with salad tongs and go those stuck too!

Engagement Ring

A New Mexico man had a brilliant plan to propose to his girlfriend by putting the engagement ring in her milkshake. Unfortunately she really liked that milkshake and swallowed the ring before he could stop her!

Brain Worm

Rosemary Alvarez was having weird symptoms such as blurred vision and numbness so she went to the doctor expecting bad news such as a brain tumor. Instead they found a giant worm squirming around in her brain! She probably got it from being served food tainted with feces containing a pork tapeworm egg.

Somehow this 16-year-old boy survived a harpoon that was shot straight through his head!

While the cell phone made sense, it is a mystery why this prisoner from Pakistan was found with a light bulb in his rectum. Even he seemed completely clueless when questioned about it.

A woman in Israel somehow managed to get a live cockroach stuck crawling around in the back of her throat. (We won't question her diet or life choices) So she decided to go after it with a fork only she swallowed that, too!

Bullet

Someone with a bad case of hemorrhoids mistakenly thought that their intestines were falling out so they freaked out and grabbed the nearest thing they could find to fix the situation: a large bullet. Though the bullet was removed safely, the bomb squad was called in for fear that it would explode.

Drill

A construction worker fell off a ladder while drilling and his drill tragically went through his eye socket and out the back of his skull. Amazingly, he survived the incident!

Knife

When a man was stabbed in the head while trying to stop a robbery back in 2008, he probably thought it was all over. But amazingly, he stayed conscious and coherent and made a full recovery!

This x-ray shows the hard lesson someone in China learned: don't clean your teeth with scissors while your friend is telling a really funny joke!

Now he regularly eats live mice, baby rats and frogs, sometimes up to 20 mice in one day!

Independence Day (Filipino: Araw ng Kasarinlan; also Araw ng Kalayaan, lit. "Day of Freedom") is an annual national holiday in thePhilippines observed on June 12, commemorating the Philippine Declaration of Independence from Spain on June 12, 1898. It is the country's National Day.

The Philippine Revolution began in August 1896. In December 1897, the Pact of Biak-na-Bato, an agreement between the Spanish colonial government and the revolutionaries, created a truce between the parties. Under terms of this agreement, Emilio Aguinaldoand other revolutionary leaders went into exile in Hong Kong.^[2]

At the outbreak of the Spanish-American War, Commodore George Dewey sailed from Hong Kong to Manila Bay leading the Asiatic Squadron of the U.S. Navy. On May 1, 1898, the Dewey defeated the Spanish in the Battle of Manila Bay. Later that month, the U.S. Navy transported Aguinaldo back to the Philippines.^[3]

On June 12, 1898, Aguinaldo led the declaration of Philippine independence from Spanish colonial rule. Philippines independence was not recognized either by the United States of America or by Spain. The Spanish government later ceded the Philippine archipelago to the United States in the 1898 Treaty of Paris. The Philippines Revolutionary Government did not recognize the treaty. When the Americans sought to execute the terms of the treaty, a three-year conflict, now called the Philippine-American War, ensued.^[4][5]

The US granted independence to the Philippines on July 4, 1946 through the Treaty of Manila.^[6]

July 4, the date chosen by the United States because it corresponds to its Independence Day, was observed in the Philippines asIndependence Day until 1962. On May 12, 1962, President Diosdado Macapagal issued Presidential Proclamation No. 28, which declared Thursday, June 12 a special public holiday throughout the Philippines, "... in commemoration of our people's declaration of their inherent and inalienable right to freedom and independence.^[7]" On August 4, 1964, Republic Act No. 4166 renamed July 4 holiday as "Philippine Republic Day", proclaimed June 12 as "Philippine Independence Day", and enjoined all citizens of the Philippines to observe the latter with befitting rites.^[8]

Prior to 1964, June 12 had been observed as Flag Day, which was moved to 28 May (the date the Philippine Flag was first flown in battle in Alapan, Imus, Cavite in 1898).
